2009 Internship/Staff Openings

Internships
HtW is currently accepting applications for internships.  Interns are unpaid, but will work alongside HtW staff in various areas such as office operations, project research, grant writing, or community awareness.  The ideal candidate will have fluency in French, some field experience, strong writing skills, and a commitment to positively impact the lives of others.  Applications are reviewed on a competitive basis.

Staff Openings
Currently, HtW is accepting applications to teach at the English Language Institute (ELI) at the coming Université d’Afrique d’Ouest (UAO).

The responsibilities of this position include a two month long intensive ESL course followed by twice weekly tutoring throughout the rest of the term.  The position is carried out in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.  The ideal candidate would have TEFL experience, although this is not a requirement.  Training will be given to those candidates not already versed in the field.  The term of service is from July 2010 to July 2011.  Applications are reviewed on a competitive basis.
